Red Line Lightweight Shockproof Gear Oil
Red line Lightweight Shockproof is a unique gear oil designed to lubricate dog engagement racing transmissions and transaxles which operate under moderate loads. It gives the high protection and film strength greater than a 75W140 oil yet has the low fluidity of an 80W oil which releases more power and makes gear changes easier, even when cold.
- Ideal for rally car dog boxes and Hewland transaxles in race cars
- Excellent low temperature fluidity provides improved cold shifting
- Provides the protection of a 75w140 oil but with the low drag of an 80w oil
- Cushions gear teeth under extreme pressure and helps prevent teeth breakage
Lightweight shockproof is recommended for dog engagement transmissions and is ideal for use in rally cars and Hewland gear boxes.
