Red Line Superlight Shockproof Gear Oil
Red Line Superlight Shockproof gear oil offers a unique combination of high levels of protection with low drag which makes it ideal for race cars where gearbox temperatures are not so high and outright power is required. With a viscosity of a 75W90 oil but with a lower internal friction similar to that of an ATF, Superlight Shockproof has proven to be very popular with most single seater race cars, especially Formula Ford and F3.
- Ideal for use in dog ring transaxles which are subjected to moderate or low loads
- Low drag makes it ideal for where optimum power is required such as qualifying
- Cushions gear teeth and helps prevent tooth breakage
- Suitable for wet sump transmissions and differentials with splash lubrication
