Radium Engineering Oil Catch Tank Kit

Radium Engineering oil catch tank kits have been developed to provide a vehicle specific solution for preventing excess oil vapour being vented back into the engines intake system which can cause a loss of engine performance. These oil catch cans connect to the engines crankcase breather system and effectively separate the oil from the air. The cleaned air is then vented either back into the intake system or to atmosphere depending on the kit type (see vehicle fitment notes for details).

OEM engine crank case breather systems generally recirculate back to the engines air intake which is usually fine for standard engines. Tuned engines or engines which are driven hard will often generate increased oil vapour from the breather system which can be damaging to engine performance. The solution to this issue is to fit an oil catch tank to separate the oil from the air and hold it in the tank so it is not passed back through the engines intake system.

Please note: The oil catch tanks will need emptying of oil periodically. A remote oil drain kit is available to purchase separately. Alternatively the tank can be removed to drain the oil.
